"PRINCESS FOR A NIGHT"

FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE

KAY COUNTY COUNCIL for the OPPORTUNITY CENTER FUNDRAISER

The annual “Princess for a Night” Father-Daughter Dance is held at the Marland Mansion in February. Several Hundred princesses dance the night away with their escorts to current and classic music, enjoy delicious refreshments and other entertainment at one of three sessions throughout the evening.

Each year the waiting list grows longer as girls up to the age of twelve want to spend a very special evening with their fathers. Professional photographers are on site to commemorate the event as well as roving photographers snapping candid shots of girls sharing special moments with their dads, grandfathers, brothers, uncles and other male role models.

Proceeds from the dance benefit the Kay County Council for the Opportunity Center.  Tickets and event t-shirts go on sale several weeks before the dance and can be purchased at Whimsy, 318 E. Grand or online at poncacitydance.com.  Check out pictures from previous dances and get notifications about the next dance by following the Facebook page, www.facebook.com/poncafddance.

The success of the dance is possible to a long list of donors and volunteers.  If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or would like to volunteer to help with the dance, c
ontact the development office 580-765-6782 (ext. 111) for more information.
